Précontraint 1002 - 1502 Metallic

The Metallic range of Précontraint textiles offers something dazzlingly different to permanent tensile membrane fabrics. Based on constructions ranging from 1002 up to 1502, the metallic range introduces lustrous gold, silver and bronze colours providing designers the palette flexibility to create outstanding landmark fabric structures.

Ferrari’s exclusive Précontraint^® technology holds the textile under tension in both warp and weft directions throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring higher levels of dimensional stability and tensile strength, less elongation and a flatter base cloth. This enables a more substantial protective coating to be placed on top of the yarn without increasing overall thickness, creating a flatter, lighter textile subject to less deformation under tension. The textile delivers high levels of strength and longevity at significantly less weight than traditional building materials.

The Precontraint Metallic range is suitable for a wide range of shapes and designs in permanent structures. Finished on both sides with a special titanium-based metallic surface coating, the textile offers resistance to weathering, soiling and pollution backed by a 10 year warranty and a choice of three stunning metallic aesthetics.
