Précontraint 1202 S

Précontraint 1202S offers the benefits of the 1202 base cloth utilising a panama weave to increase strength from the 1002 range without increasing weight combined with lower cost and ease of fabrication.

Ferrari’s exclusive Précontraint^® technology holds the textile under tension in both warp and weft directions throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring higher levels of dimensional stability and tensile strength, less elongation and a flatter base cloth. This enables a more substantial protective coating to be placed on top of the yarn without increasing overall thickness, creating a flatter, lighter textile subject to less deformation under tension.

Précontraint 1202S is suitable for a wide range of shapes and designs in permanent structures. Finished on both sides with Ferrari’s Formula S Weldable PVDF, the textile offers the resistance to weathering, soiling and pollution expected from a PVDF finish.
