Précontraint 802 S

Purpose designed for the Australian market, Précontraint 802S is a lightweight, translucent fabric ideally suited for medium scale permanent membrane structures. Available in a convenient wide roll width of 267cm, this architectural fabric combines a low wick treated base cloth (warp and weft yarns) with a superior PVC/PVDF coating.

The unique features of Ferrari’s Précontraint composite textiles and their many benefits are recognised worldwide by building professionals. Manufactured using the Précontraint process, 802S exhibits exceptional dimensional stability and resistance to mechanical damage.

Minimal elongation under stress means re-tensioning is not required, ensuring considerable savings in time and maintenance costs. The S coating applied to the surface of 802S produces a smooth and shiny finish that delivers excellent resistance to ageing and pollution while maintaining weldability on both sides for ease of fabrication. The base cloth also has an anti-capillary treatment restricting moisture build up and wicking.
