Defender

Defender offers an innovative solution to transport security through the reinforcement of truck side curtains. Ferrari^®’s patented PVC mesh with hardened steel inserts prevents slashing and turns otherwise vulnerable tarpaulins into an impenetrable barrier against would-be thieves or vandals.

Pairs of lightweight, extremely strong cables are woven into the mesh at 4cm or 5cm intervals preventing any significant damage being caused to the tarpaulin by knife attack. The finished mesh can then be attached to any PVC textile with the use of a hot-air welder, or come pre-calandered from Ferrari^® in specific shapes, colours and sizes.
