Précontraint 702 Big Top

The Précontraint 702 Big Top range has been specifically designed to meet the needs of the circus tent industry. Four standard blockout colours, each with blue underneath, comprise the range which delivers strength, durability and compliance with exacting flame retardancy regulations.

Ferrari’s exclusive Précontraint^® technology holds the textile under tension in both warp and weft directions throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring higher levels of dimensional stability and tensile strength, less elongation and a flatter base cloth. This enables a more substantial protective coating to be placed on top of the yarn without increasing overall thickness, creating a flatter, lighter textile subject to less deformation under tension.

Précontraint 702 Big Top products are ideal for the demanding requirements of circus tent applications. Finished on both sides with a weldable acrylic lacquer, the textile resists soiling and pollution, is easy to manufacture and suitable for frequent assembly and de-rigging.
